HOW TO PACK WITH STRAPPINGS AND BUCKLES

Materials Needed:

Strapping material (such as woven or composite strapping) Buckles (commonly M-type buckles for some strapping) Tensioning tool or strapping machine Cutting tool (scissors or strapping cutter)

Steps:

Prepare the Items:

Arrange and organize the items you need to pack. Make sure they are properly boxed or arranged for efficient strapping.

Cut the Strapping:

Measure and cut the strapping material according to the size and dimensions of the items. Leave enough length for wrapping and securing.

Wrap the Strapping Around the Items:

Place the strapping around the items to be packed and ensure a snug fit. Overlap the ends of the strapping to create a loop.

Insert the Buckle:

Depending on the type of strapping, insert the end of the strapping through the buckle. For M-type buckles, make sure the strapping goes through the designated slots.

Tighten the Strapping:

Use a tensioning tool or strapping machine to tighten the strapping around the items. Apply enough tension to secure the load but avoid over-tightening, which could damage the items.

Secure the Buckle:

Once the strapping is tight, secure the buckle. For M-type buckles, make sure the strapping is properly threaded through and engage the buckle to hold the tension.

Trim Excess Strapping:

Use a cutting tool to trim any excess strapping. Leave a small tail to prevent unraveling.

Inspect the Packaging:

After securing the strapping and buckles, inspect the packaging to ensure it is tight and secure. Check for any potential weak points or areas that may need additional strapping.
