Stainless Steel Stud Fitting

Stainless Steel D Ring: The D ring is a metal loop, often shaped like the letter "D." It is typically made of stainless steel, which is highly corrosion-resistant and durable.

Single Stud Fitting: This refers to the attachment mechanism, typically a single stud, to secure the D ring in place. It can be fastened to a surface, such as a wall, floor, or vehicle, by drilling a hole and screwing it into place.

Rubber Base: The rubber base is attached to the stud fitting and provides cushioning and protection. It can prevent damage to the surface where the fitting is installed and may enhance grip or stability in some applications.

Stud fitting's top, D-shaped ring, connects to the ratchet tie down's S-hook, and the 2-layer-disk shaped bottom can wedge into the tracks of the pickup truck bed. This way, depending on the size and position of the cargo in the truck bed, the stud fitting can be moved back and forth within the tracks to find the right position. Once the bottom is secured, the end fitting S-hook of the ratchet tie down is connected to the D-ring. Then, the ratchet handle is repeatedly operated to tighten the cargo.
