The 50MM web lashing with ratchet, also known as 2" ratchet strap. It is made from 100% polyester high-strength multifilament, the 50mm wide webbing features a short part length of 0.5M. The ratchet and double J hooks are made of heat-treated alloy steel with yellow zinc plating, offering high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and rust prevention.

This 50mm web lashing with ratchet is one of the most commonly used cargo lashing tools. The working principle of the ratchet strap: The main component of the ratchet is a reinforced gear with two semi-circular shafts in the middle, forming a slot through which the webbing can be passed. By pulling the ratchet handle, the webbing is wrapped around the semi-circular shafts (axle) to tighten and secure the cargo. Such load strap has a vertical lashing capacity of 2500KG and a cyclic lashing capacity of 5000KG, hence it is commonly referred to as a 5T ratchet tie down strap. Of which the STF (Standard Tension Force) value can reach 300daN, and the webbing has a minimum breaking force of 7500daN. The webbing is 50mm wide and up to 3mm thick, with 5 black stripes on surface, making it very sturdy and durable.
This ratchet strap is the most widely used and has the largest consumption. In addition to being used for lashing cargo in heavy-duty transportation, it can also be found in factory warehouses, ocean-going vessels, and port terminals.
