Product Overview:
A tow recovery strap also known as a tow strap, is a heavy-duty strap specifically designed for towing or recovering vehicles. It is commonly used to safely tow or pull a disabled or stuck vehicle using another vehicle or a towing apparatus. Tow straps, also known as snatch straps, due to their convenient rescue method, direct effectiveness, lightweight portability, and cost-effectiveness, have become an indispensable rescue tool in the trunk of daily driving and self-driving vehicles.
Tow Strap Details
Snatch straps are widely used. They can appear in desert off-road rally races, be present when trucks get stuck in mud, and also be encountered on roads during incoming snowstorms.
Tow straps generally have moderate elasticity and stretchability. This ensures sufficient pulling force during the rescue of vehicles. Simultaneously, the strap's ability to stretch allows for a certain degree of extension when the vehicle accelerates forward, providing necessary cushioning. This helps protect both the rescuing and rescued vehicles from damage caused by strong instantaneous impact forces.
Tow straps also possess a certain degree of resilience. This allows the strap to slowly retract to its original state after towing rescue operations. This gradual retraction ensures that the strap does not weaken in effectiveness for the next use, thereby guaranteeing its durability over time.
There are two types of recovery straps:
