Lifting Sling Operation Instructions
1. Check slings are intactbefore using.
2. Use a protection sleevein case of lifting items with sharp edges.
3. Watch out the hooks.
4. Do not allow rest theload on the sling. Do notdrag the load on the sling.
5. Do not overload and take notice of thetemperature.
6. Be careful with chemicals.
7. Lifting slings should not be knotted or twisted.
8. Do not use damaged lifting slings.
Safety Precautions for Using Lifting Slings
It is not allowed to overload the slings. If several slings are used at the same time, the load should be distributed evenly among several slings as much as possible.
It is not allowed to connect the soft ring to any device that may cause damage to it. The hanging device connected to the soft ring should be smooth and without any sharp edges. Its size and shape should not tear the seams of the sling.
When moving the sling and cargo, do not drag.
Do not knot or twist the lifting straps, and do not allow the lifting straps to hang goods for too long.
It is not allowed to use lifting straps without sheaths to carry goods with sharp corners and edges.
When the goods stay on the lifting belt, the lifting belt must not be pulled out from the load-bearing state.
If the sling is used in high-temperature situations or abnormal environments such as lifting chemical substances, it should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations.
After the lifting belt is dirty or used in an environment prone to acid or alkali, it should be rinsed with cold water immediately.
Lifting straps should be stored away from light and without ultraviolet radiation. Lifting straps should not be stored near open flames or other heat sources.
Scrap Standards for Lifting Slings
During the use of the lifting belt, if any of the following conditions occurs, it should be scrapped.
The webbing (including protective cover) is severely worn, perforated, cut, and torn.
Load-bearing seams bloom and sutures fray.
The fibers of the lifting belt soften, age, become less elastic, and weaken in strength.
The fiber surface is rough and easy to peel off.
There is a dead knot in the lifting belt.
The surface of the lifting strap has excessive loose spots, corrosion, acid and alkali burns, and thermal melting or scorching.
