Production Process of Lifting Slings
Here the veteran staff from lifting sling manufacturer show you the production process of lifting slings in a professional way for your information.
The load and length of conventional lifting slings are generally integers. It can be used directly during conventional hoisting. For special lifting occasions, when objects with special requirements need to be lifted, extra-long and extra-large tonnage lifting straps with specified lengths and specified loads can be specially manufactured according to the usage requirements.
Lifting slings can be seen on many occasions and are a very important lifting tool. Let’s take a look at the lifting belt production process:
Most synthetic fiber lifting Slings or lifting belts are made of polyester yarn or polypropylene yarn:
1. Warping: The raw materials need to be replaced with standard accessories, and then installed on the creel for the weaving process.
2. Weaving: During the weaving process of the flat lifting sling, there are warp and weft threads. The warp thread is the vertical thread and the weft thread is the horizontal thread. The number and density of the weft threads determine the strength of the synthetic fiber sling.
3. Dyeing: During the dyeing process of industrial lifting slings, the dyeing temperature needs to be above 210°C. The temperature of polyester slings of different tonnages will be different. The dyeing is for the sling leather made of polyester yarn. After dyeing The lifting strap will not fade and will become stronger.
4. Cutting: There are two forms of cutting for flat lifting slings: traditional cutting and machine cutting. Here they need to be cut according to the customer's requirements. The length can range from 1 meter to 100 meters.
5. Sewing: When sewing, the thread of the same material should be used for sewing, and the seam should be smooth and without thread ends. The pins should be on the inside of the sling to avoid damage to the edges of the loop sling.
6. Trimming: After sewing, the lifting sling will have excess threads that need to be trimmed. This can be done by cutting or ironing.
7. Packaging and shipping: After the production of the colored lifting belts is completed, and if there is no problem in the test, it can be packaged and shipped.
The above is the production process of lifting slings. If you want to know more about the specifications and models of lifting slings, you can log on to the website to consult customer service personnel.
The flexible lifting sling is made of built-in multiple strands of synthetic fiber and wrapped with a sheath.
In addition, the prerequisite for the production of flexible lifting slings is the inspection of raw materials, which determines the quality of the product; when the raw materials pass the test, the ribbon, dyeing, and lettering processes are entered; when the raw materials meet the quality index requirements, the inner core is made. The flexible sling is processed into an inner core that meets the requirements through core-joining and core-twisting equipment; then the semi-finished slings, inner cores, and core-piercing processes of each process are assembled into products that meet the process requirements; the last step is the sewing of the flexible sling, which must The stitches are uniform and beautiful, meeting quality requirements.
